    • “No way. Ģeen 5 minuten kunnen volhouden”
    • ‘Boek kwam ik niet doorheen, vreselijk. Film dus een No Go.

Was Fifty Shades daarom zo populair?

Erika Lust is a filmmaker, mother, writer, blogger, owner and founder of Erika Lust Films where she offers an alternative to the mainstream porn industry. She is also the creator of groundbreaking audiovisual Project XConfessions.com, the first crowdsourced series that brought adult film to cinema screens. Born in 1977 in Sweden, she studied political sciences, feminism and sexuality at the University of Lund. Tired of chauvinistic and tacky mainstream porn, she moved to Barcelona in 2000 where she took classes in film directing before bursting into the adult industry in 2004, with the indie short film The Good Girl – a humorous statement of principles using the “pizza delivery boy” trope.

  • Fetishism in Fashion

    Fetishism in Fashion

A Book Review by Edith Lázár

The intimate, skinned contact the body holds to clothing has been an inexhaustible source for the fetishization of fashion, namely for teaming sexual arousal and pleasure with particular items. Because of their power to formally structure, to cut upon the body in the same way retailed costumes did, not to mention their sexual affiliation, restrictive type of clothing used in games of discipline and levels of pleasure (mostly sado-masochism) were especially the ones swept out of the private and developed into a popular inspiration stance.

Repeated over and over again they became nothing more than stereotype posters, the well-known cliché of provocative fetish fashion. Today more than ever, sex is anything but obscene, with stiletto hills, dominatrix and “bite marks”, sexual contriving behaviour, symbolic out worn sex, lingerie, red lips and black leather, as a long time influential paraphernalia in designing the body.

  • Why are masks so damn sexy?

Why are masks so damn sexy?

Why are masks so damn sexy?

Go to a party or festival and you will see, lots of people are wearing  kinky face masks these days. And I am not talking about these horrible Covid-19 protection masks. I am talking about sexy, mysterious and erotic eye masks. A must-have item for every Kinky Diva!

The history of the eye mask is rooted in ideas of kink, illness, and classic mystery and carnivals. Think about Venatian masks. How cool are they! For many people, masks evoke images of heroes and villains, and mysterious romances in dazzling ballrooms. A masked hero or heroine can also be sexy as all hell. Batman, Catwoman Miauw!

In the world of kink and fetish, wearing a mask is an important way to lose yourself into kinky fantasies. Our faces are what us makes so unique, remove a detail and it’s easier to become another person. That other person can do things, things you are too shy for or too insecure for to practice.

Let’s go back to that famous woman on the screen: Catwoman. Lots of kinky masks are “Animal” masks. Cats, Dogs, Bunnies, you name it. Animal or PetPlay is a form of roleplay where at least one participant plays the part of a non-human animal. Animal roleplay may also be found in BDSM contexts, where an individual may take part in a dominant/submissive relationship by being treated as an animal. But most important thing is you look pretty hot with a mask on, no matter what scenario. A great accessory for a every KINKY DIVA!
